Description

Fanvil X2P Call Center IP Phone with PoE Dubai

Not every call center desk needs a large executive phone. In many Dubai offices the real requirement is simpler: one agent, one headset, one extension, fast answer, fast hold, clear voice, and PoE from the comms room. The Fanvil X2P fits that exact seat.

It is the small call center phone in the Fanvil X range, built for headset-first work instead of manager desks. For a helpdesk in Business Bay, a service counter in Deira, a clinic appointment desk in Sharjah, or a back-office team taking repeat inbound calls, the X2P gives the user the parts they actually touch all day: headset key, hold key, mute key, call forwarding key, colour screen, and two network ports.

Vector Digital Systems supplies the Fanvil X2P from Dubai for project quantities, like-for-like additions, PABX refresh work, and export orders. We stage the phones before dispatch: extension registration, provisioning template, headset mode, test calls, and user labels checked before the box leaves our side.

What the Fanvil X2P is

The X2P is a compact Fanvil call center IP phone with 2 SIP lines, a 2.8-inch 320 × 240 colour screen, HD voice with G.722 wideband codec, PoE, and dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports. It supports call center headset use through RJ9 and 3.5 mm ports, with EHS support for compatible wireless headset bases through the proper Fanvil or headset cable.

The phone has 23 keys: 4 soft keys, 4 LED function keys for mute, hold, auto answer, and headset, 12 dial keys, 2 volume keys, and 1 volume select key. That layout matters. A call center phone should not bury the common actions behind menus. The person on the desk needs to mute, hold, answer by headset, and return to the caller without looking clever. Just quick.

The X2P also supports a foot pedal for off-hook and on-hook use. That is not common on standard desk phones. For agents who type while speaking, reception overflow seats, order-entry teams, and service desks that keep both hands on the keyboard, the foot pedal option is the reason this model still gets searched.

X2P buyer note

This page is for the exact Fanvil X2P model. We quote it when stock, project continuity, headset workflow, or a like-for-like call center desk is the requirement. Send us your requirement on WhatsApp and we confirm the right model.

2 SIP lines — what that means on an agent desk

A SIP line on a phone is a registered account or call appearance. It is not the same as a telecom trunk, and it does not mean the handset creates two outside lines by itself. Buyers often oversize phones because this point is unclear.

For the X2P, 2 SIP lines are enough for the way most agent desks work. One account can be the user extension. The second can be used for a second identity, a department line, a spare call appearance, or a separate registration where the PABX design needs it. In a Dubai helpdesk, the agent may answer a queue call, place the caller on hold, speak to a supervisor, and return. That is normal call handling. The number of callers your office can take at the same time is controlled by your PABX, queues, licences, and Etisalat or du SIP trunk capacity.

For a 20-agent order desk, you do not buy twenty 20-line phones. You normally buy simple 2-line phones for agents, then use the PABX queue rules to distribute the calls. The supervisor or receptionist may need a larger Fanvil model with BLF keys. The agent does not.

Agent desk sizing

Use the X2P where the user spends the day on a headset, works from one or two SIP accounts, and does not need many BLF keys. Use a larger Fanvil desk phone for supervisors who watch extensions, queues, or branch users. Send us your extension count on WhatsApp and we confirm the right model.

The real differentiator: headset, EHS, and foot pedal workflow

The Fanvil X2P is not trying to be an executive desk phone. Its strongest point is the call handling workflow around the headset. The handset can sit unused while the user answers, mutes, holds, and ends calls from the headset key or a supported pedal setup.

That matters in small UAE call teams. A clinic appointment desk may take calls while entering patient details. A maintenance company in Al Quoz may answer service requests while logging tickets. A trading office in JAFZA may process repeat supplier calls while typing order references. The X2P keeps the desk compact and the call actions close to the user’s fingers.

Headset support is also where project staging saves time. We do not just ship a box and leave the installer to find the right mode on site. For project batches, we set the extension, enable the headset behavior required by the team, test the audio path, and make a live test call before dispatch.

Call handling features agents use daily

The X2P supports hold, resume, waiting, transfer, call forwarding, intercom, caller ID display, redial, do-not-disturb, auto-answer, server voice message, hot line, hot desking, and 3-way conference. Local phonebook capacity is 500 entries, remote phonebook can be XML or LDAP with 500 entries, and call logs cover incoming, outgoing, and missed calls with 600 entries.

In plain terms: this is a small phone for high-repeat call work. It is not selected because it has the largest screen or the most keys. It is selected because it gives an agent desk the right controls and keeps the project cost controlled across 10, 20, or 50 seats.

Power and network truth

The X2P has PoE integrated and uses dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports: one network port and one PC port bridged behind it. That lets an installer run one cable to the desk, connect the phone, and pass the network through to a workstation where 10/100 Mbps is acceptable for that seat.

This is not a Gigabit phone. That is an important project detail. For a call center agent PC running browser-based ticketing, CRM screens, and light office work, 10/100 Mbps may be enough. For a design workstation, large file transfers, or a desk where the PC needs full Gigabit throughput, choose a Fanvil model with Gigabit passthrough instead.

Power adapter is not included with X2P

The Fanvil X2P is PoE-ready. The external power supply is optional, not part of the standard X2P box. If your switch is not PoE, we add the correct PSU in the same quote so the site does not discover the missing power source during installation.

Fanvil’s datasheet does not publish a PoE class for the X2P. For project quantities, Vector Digital Systems checks the PoE switch budget during quotation. Across 20 or 50 seats, this check matters more than it looks: one phone is easy, a full call desk with every phone powered from the comms room needs the switch budget confirmed before dispatch.

Current support reality for project buyers

The X2P is an exact Fanvil model that many buyers still search by name, especially where an existing call center floor already uses it. For procurement teams, the safest use case is like-for-like addition, spare replacement, a controlled batch for an existing site, or export supply where the project specification names X2P.

We do not hide the support position. Fanvil has published an end-of-life notice for the X2P/X2C call center phone family. That does not mean every installed X2P stops working. It means project buyers should confirm availability, support expectations, headset compatibility, and future expansion plans before ordering a batch.

For this page, we are keeping the exact model language because some projects ask for the exact Fanvil X2P. No replacement wording is used here. When you send the requirement, we quote based on the model name, quantity, destination, power method, and whether the order is for an existing deployment or a new site.

Platform compatibility in Dubai

The X2P registers as a SIP endpoint on common office PABX platforms used in the UAE, including 3CX, Grandstream UCM, Yeastar, and Asterisk. It also supports standard SIP services used with Etisalat and du business voice deployments when the project is designed correctly.

Provisioning can be handled through FTP, TFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP option 66, SIP PNP, and TR-069. For an installer, that means one template can carry account details, line labels, time settings, audio preferences, and provisioning rules across a batch instead of entering every phone manually.

Staging before dispatch: extensions registered, provisioning template applied, headset mode checked, test calls made, and packing arranged by site or department. Useful for Dubai fit-outs, Sharjah service teams, Abu Dhabi branch rollouts, and MEA export batches.

Pricing, supply, and staging from Dubai

Fanvil X2P pricing is quoted in AED based on quantity, availability, headset requirement, PSU requirement, and delivery location. We do not publish fixed AED pricing because project orders vary: 5 phones for a small support desk, 25 phones for an office floor, or 100 units for export are not the same quote.

For UAE projects, Vector Digital Systems can include supply, staging, delivery, and installation under one engagement. For resellers and PABX installers, we can stage by extension list and pack by branch, department, or floor. VAT breakdown and delivery can be included in the same formal quotation.

Stock & Projects: Fanvil X2P supply from Dubai. Same-day quote in AED on WhatsApp. Supply and installation across all 7 UAE emirates. Project quantities and MEA export — FOB Dubai pricing on request.

Frequently asked questions

Will the Fanvil X2P work with our 3CX / Grandstream UCM / Yeastar?

Yes. The X2P registers as a SIP endpoint on 3CX, Grandstream UCM, Yeastar, Asterisk, and other SIP-based PABX platforms. Vector Digital Systems can stage the phones before delivery with the extension, provisioning template, headset mode, and test calls completed.

Does the Fanvil X2P come with a power adapter, or do I need PoE?

The X2P is PoE-ready, and the external power supply is optional. If your network switch provides PoE, one cable powers and connects the phone. If not, ask us to include the correct Fanvil PSU in the same quote.

What does 2 SIP lines actually mean — can I make 2 calls at once?

2 SIP lines means the phone can register accounts and handle call appearances. It does not create two outside telecom trunks by itself. The number of simultaneous calls your business can handle depends on your PABX, call queue design, licences, and Etisalat or du SIP trunk capacity.

Fanvil X2P vs Fanvil X2C — what is the difference?

The X2P is the PoE call center model with a 2.8-inch colour screen. The X2C uses a 128 × 48 backlit display and does not carry the same PoE position as X2P. For an exact PoE colour-screen agent phone, choose X2P.

Does Vector Digital Systems configure the phones before delivery?

Yes. For project quantities we register extensions, apply the provisioning template, check headset mode, place test calls, and pack the phones by site, floor, or department before dispatch.

Is this covered under Fanvil warranty in the UAE?

Yes, Fanvil manufacturer warranty is handled through the Dubai supply channel. Because the X2P family has an official end-of-life notice, we confirm warranty and availability terms at quotation stage for each batch.

Is VoIP legal in the UAE and will this work with Etisalat or du?

Business VoIP is used in the UAE through licensed telecom services and regulated routes under TRA rules. The X2P can be deployed on Etisalat or du business SIP services directly where suitable, or through your office PABX.

Who is the supplier of Fanvil X2P in Dubai?

Vector Digital Systems LLC is an authorised Fanvil supplier in Dubai, UAE, operating since 2009. We supply the Fanvil X2P with staging, provisioning, installation support, warranty coordination, and procurement documents for IT teams, system integrators, PABX installers, ELV contractors, and resellers.

What is the best call center IP phone for a small helpdesk in Dubai?

For an exact Fanvil call center model with headset workflow, PoE, and a colour screen, the Fanvil X2P is a strong fit for small helpdesks and agent desks. For a new office rollout where long-term range continuity is more important than the X2P name, ask us to compare it with the current Fanvil entry desk range before you approve the quote.

Do you give project pricing for 50 Fanvil X2P phones?

Yes. We quote project pricing for 10+, 25+, 50+, and larger quantities depending on availability. Quotes can include phones, PSUs where needed, staging, delivery, installation, VAT breakdown, and export documentation where the order is outside the UAE.

Does Vector Digital Systems export Fanvil X2P from Dubai?

Yes. We export Fanvil phones from Dubai to telecom resellers, PABX installers, and system integrators in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Ghana, Pakistan, and Kazakhstan.
