What is the difference between GRP and GXP Grandstream phones?
GRP is the current carrier-grade series: modern design, faster processors, WiFi 6 on many models, AI noise reduction, and active firmware development. GXP is the previous generation — still functional, still deployable, but receiving maintenance updates only. New offices should buy GRP; offices with GXP fleets should maintain them and replace with GRP as units age out. Both register on the same systems, so the transition can be gradual, never forced.

Yes — every Grandstream phone is a standard SIP device. GRP, GXP and GXV phones register on 3CX, Yeastar, Avaya, Asterisk and hosted platforms, not just Grandstream UCM systems. If you change platforms later, the phones move with you; only the configuration changes. That open standard is why we recommend the hardware even for non-Grandstream systems.

Two ways. The GXV Android video phones install the Teams app directly on the desk phone — Teams natively on the handset. For everything else, we connect your phone system to Teams through Direct Routing on licensed Etisalat or du lines, so any Grandstream phone or extension can make and receive calls inside the Teams window. We configure both paths as one project.
Can you supply replacement handsets for our existing Grandstream phones?
Yes — replacement handsets, cords, power supplies and complete units for current GRP models and legacy GXP models, from Dubai stock. Do Grandstream phones need power adapters?
Most don't — models with the P suffix (GRP2601P, GRP2602P and most of the range) take Power over Ethernet, so one network cable carries both the connection and the power. No adapter, no extra socket, half the desk clutter. For desks without a PoE switch, we supply the adapters or the switch — and GWN PoE switches if the whole corner needs powering.
