Power, cooling and where this UPS should sit

The SMT2200I is a 48.8kg tower UPS. It is not something to balance on a weak shelf inside a wall cabinet. Place it on the floor, on a strong UPS tray, or beside the rack with enough airflow around the unit. The depth is 544mm, so check cabinet and floor space before ordering.

Operating temperature is 0°C to 40°C. That number is important in UAE. A UPS in a properly cooled server room in Business Bay, DIFC or JLT will behave differently from a UPS kept inside a warehouse office in Al Quoz where the AC gets switched off after 6PM.
