Description

Yealink SIP-T73U IP Phone 12-Line GigE Desk Phone T43U Successor Dubai

The Standard T7 Desk Phone for Dubai Offices

The Yealink SIP-T73U is the practical starting point of the new T7 business-phone generation: 12 SIP accounts, a 2.8-inch colour screen, dual Gigabit Ethernet, USB headset support, modern T7 security, and support for EXP55 expansion modules when a standard desk grows into a light reception role. If your Dubai office is replacing ageing T43U, T44U, T42S or mixed branch handsets, the T73U gives users the current Yealink interface without forcing every desk into executive-phone pricing. Vector Digital Systems LLC supplies, stages and supports Yealink phones in Dubai — with same-day quote in AED, VAT breakdown and delivery noted before dispatch.

SIP or Microsoft Teams? Get the Platform Right Before You Order

The SIP-T73U is a SIP phone. It is built for SIP PBX platforms such as 3CX, Yeastar P-Series, Grandstream UCM, Asterisk, FreePBX and hosted VoIP. The T7 generation does not have a same-body Microsoft Teams edition. Teams phones are a separate Yealink MP-series range, and Zoom Phone devices are a separate certified range. A SIP phone ordered for a Teams-only office cannot be fixed by a field reflash, so the platform check comes first.

Your Platform Right Phone What You Need
SIP PBX — 3CX, Yeastar, UCM, Asterisk, hosted PBX SIP-T73U (this page) SIP credentials from your phone system
Microsoft Teams Yealink MP-series Teams phone — ask David for the current certified model Microsoft 365 tenant + Teams Phone licence per user
Zoom Phone Zoom-certified Yealink range — ask David Zoom Phone licence per user

Tell David which platform you run when requesting a quote. For SIP offices, the T73U is the right fit. For Teams or Zoom deployments, we verify the current certified Yealink model before quoting.

PoE Truth — No Power Adapter in the Box

The Yealink SIP-T73U ships without a power adapter. It is designed to draw power from a PoE-capable switch port. If your switch does not provide PoE, ask David to add the matching Yealink power supply to your order. This matters in Dubai branch rollouts because many offices still have a mix of PoE and non-PoE switches. We check this before dispatch so the phone does not arrive with a missing power plan.

Console note: the T73U can use EXP55 expansion modules, but desks running two or three EXP55 modules require an external PSU regardless of PoE. Vector Digital Systems includes that in the quote when we supply a console setup.

Gigabit Passthrough for Modern Dubai Networks

Every T7-series desk phone carries dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Connect the LAN port to the switch and the PC port to the laptop or desktop behind the phone; the computer gets full 1Gbps passthrough. This is a quiet but important upgrade when replacing older 100Mbps phones such as T42S and T46S in offices that now run gigabit switching, cloud storage, video meetings and large file transfers at every desk.

Where the T73U Sits in the T7 Range

The SIP-T73U is the entry-mid T7 phone: more capable than the basic T3 tier, smaller and more cost-efficient than the T74U executive model, and ideal for standard users who need 12 lines, a colour screen, Gigabit passthrough and headset support. It replaces the T43U / T44U tier in new deployments. Choose the T73W instead when the desk needs built-in Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, or step up to the T74U when the user needs 16 accounts, a larger 4.3-inch display and 10-way local conferencing.

Where the T73U Works in Dubai

Branch and department desks. The T73U is ideal for Dubai offices that need a reliable business phone without paying for a larger executive screen on every desk. Admin teams, accounts departments, support desks, sales users and branch managers get 12 accounts, BLF keys, USB headset support and Gigabit passthrough in a compact footprint.

T43U and T44U refresh projects. Many UAE offices still run older T4-series phones in mixed fleets. The T73U is the practical successor for that tier: current T7 security, cleaner audio, dual GigE, modern UI and EXP55 expansion compatibility for users whose BLF needs have grown. Vector Digital Systems stages replacement batches desk-by-desk so old extensions, speed-dials and dial plans move cleanly into the new phone.

Clinics, showrooms and SMEs. A clinic in Jumeirah, a showroom in Al Quoz, a trading office in Deira or a Business Bay SME often needs a phone that is better than an entry handset but not oversized. The T73U fits that middle: clear display, enough accounts for shared lines, USB headset support for long calls, and PoE deployment for tidy desks.

Multi-branch rollouts. For companies with small offices across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and the Northern Emirates, the T73U is easy to standardise. Vector Digital Systems can preload SIP registration, provisioning templates, BLF/speed-dial keys and dial-plan rules before dispatch so each branch receives labelled, ready-to-register phones.

Staging Before Dispatch — What Vector Digital Systems Configures

Every Yealink SIP-T73U supplied by Vector Digital Systems is staged before it leaves Dubai. We register the SIP account on your 3CX, Yeastar, Grandstream UCM, Asterisk or hosted PBX platform; load the provisioning template; configure BLF and speed-dial keys; apply the dial plan; check codec priority; test inbound and outbound calls; and physically label or identify the handset for desk delivery. For branch projects, we can stage phones by location, department and extension range so each box arrives ready for the correct desk.

Export Yealink SIP-T73U from Dubai

Vector Digital Systems exports Yealink SIP-T73U phones from Dubai to system integrators, telecom operators, PABX installers, hotel groups, banking branch networks and corporate IT procurement teams. Common routes include Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar in the Gulf; Jordan and Egypt in the wider Arab market; Kenya and Tanzania in East Africa; and Pakistan and Sri Lanka for South Asian deployments. Shipments are quoted FOB Dubai with commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin on request. Project pricing is available for 5+ units and larger branch rollouts.

Frequently Asked Questions — Yealink SIP-T73U

Is the Yealink T73U the replacement for the T43U or T44U?

Yes — the SIP-T73U is the current T7-series successor for the T43U / T44U desk-phone tier. It gives standard users 12 SIP accounts, a 2.8-inch colour display, dual Gigabit Ethernet, USB headset support and EXP55 expansion compatibility. If your Dubai office is refreshing older T4-series phones, the T73U is the practical wired replacement.

Does the Yealink T73U work with Microsoft Teams?

The T73U is a SIP phone for SIP platforms such as 3CX, Yeastar, Grandstream UCM, Asterisk and hosted PBX. It is not a Microsoft Teams phone, and there is no Teams edition of the T73U body. Yealink Teams phones are separate MP-series models. For a Teams Phone office, ask David for the current Teams-certified Yealink model and we will verify certification before quoting.

Does the Yealink T73U come with a power adapter, or do I need PoE?

The T73U does not include a power adapter in the box. It is designed to run on Power over Ethernet from a PoE-capable switch port. If your switch is not PoE-capable, ask David to add the matching Yealink PSU to your order. If you use two or three EXP55 modules, the external PSU is required regardless of PoE.

Will the T73U work with our 3CX, Grandstream UCM, Yeastar P-Series or existing SIP PABX?

Yes — the SIP-T73U works with RFC-compliant SIP platforms including 3CX, Yeastar P-Series, Grandstream UCM, Asterisk, FreePBX and hosted PBX services. Vector Digital Systems stages the phone before dispatch with SIP registration, provisioning template, BLF keys and dial-plan test so it arrives ready for your system.

T73U vs T73W — which one should I buy?

Choose the T73U for a normal wired desk with an Ethernet point. Choose the T73W if the desk needs built-in Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. Both models have 12 SIP accounts, a 2.8-inch colour display, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 40 programmable keys and EXP55 support. The T73U is the better-value option where cabling already exists.

Can I add a headset to the Yealink T73U?

Yes — the T73U has a USB 2.0 port for compatible USB headsets, and it can also work with Yealink wireless DECT headsets using the correct EHS adapter. For call-heavy desks in Dubai, tell David whether the user needs wired USB, wireless DECT or remote answer/hang-up so we quote the correct headset bundle.

Does the T73U support Gigabit passthrough for my laptop?

Yes — the T73U includes dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. Connect the phone to the switch and connect your laptop or desktop to the PC port on the phone. The computer keeps full 1Gbps passthrough, which is a useful upgrade when replacing older 100Mbps phones in Dubai offices.

What is the best Yealink IP phone for standard office desks in Dubai?

For standard wired desks, the SIP-T73U is the best-value current Yealink T7 choice: 12 SIP accounts, colour screen, dual GigE, USB headset support and modern T7 security. For wireless desks, choose the T73W. For managers who need a larger screen, 16 accounts and 10-way conferencing, step up to the T74U.

Who is the Yealink authorised supplier in Dubai?

David is the Yealink product specialist for pre-sales guidance, project pricing, staging and warranty handling. Does Vector Digital Systems export Yealink T73U phones from Dubai?

Does Vector Digital Systems configure the T73U before delivery?

Yes — every T73U can be staged before dispatch with SIP registration, provisioning template, BLF and speed-dial keys, dial-plan test, codec settings and a live test call. For multi-branch projects, we label and pack phones by extension, department and site so installation is faster.
