What is HP Poly?
HP Poly is one of three dominant professional communication hardware providers globally — alongside Logitech and Cisco. The result of merging Plantronics (60+ years professional audio) and Polycom (35+ years video conferencing) under HP enterprise backing. Hardware deployed in Fortune 500 boardrooms, government facilities, hospitals, and contact centres where communication failure creates real business impact.
If you've been using Polycom systems — RealPresence Group Series, HDX, Trio, or any legacy Polycom platform — HP Poly is your direct upgrade path. The engineering team, the platform certifications, and the product DNA are the same. The brand changed; the commitment to professional-grade communication did not.
All current systems run VideoOS 5.0 on Android 13 with native Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet certification — committed support through 2032. You choose the platform; Poly hardware works natively with all of them.
The product range covers video conferencing systems for rooms from 2 to 50 people, professional headsets from personal desk use to 15-person conference rooms, speakerphones for huddle spaces, and IP phones launching September 2026. Every product is designed for hybrid work — platform-agnostic certification means Poly systems work natively with Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and standard UC/SIP platforms. You choose the software; Poly delivers the hardware that makes it work reliably.
Key technologies define the Poly difference: DirectorAI automatically frames speakers and switches cameras intelligently. NoiseBlockAI suppresses background noise using AI-powered audio processing — remote participants hear you clearly even in noisy open-plan offices. Poly Lens Cloud provides unified device management from a single dashboard. With VideoOS 5.0 on Android 13, current Poly systems have a committed roadmap to Android 17 and support through 2032.

WhatsApp for Enquiry View Polycom PhonesWhy Choose HP Poly?
Four core technologies make HP Poly the professional choice for hybrid work environments across the UAE and Middle East.
DirectorAI Smart Framing
Automatic speaker tracking and intelligent framing in X32/X52/X72/G62 systems. DirectorAI detects people in the room, tracks active speakers, and adjusts camera framing in real-time. Works in three modes: group framing keeps everyone in frame, speaker framing focuses on the active speaker, and people framing removes empty space by tightening to occupied areas. Advanced DirectorAI in X72 and E70 cameras switches between dual cameras for optimal coverage — the 120° wide camera captures the full room while the 70° narrow camera zooms to speakers. HP Poly has announced that DirectorAI multi-camera automatic switching arrives with VideoOS 5.1, building on the VideoOS 5.0 platform — a planned enhancement to how the system coordinates multiple cameras.
NoiseBlockAI Audio Technology
AI-powered background noise cancellation works across headsets, speakerphones, and video bars. NoiseBlockAI suppresses keyboard typing, paper rustling, office chatter, HVAC hum, traffic noise, construction sounds, dog barking, and ambient noise that disrupts meetings. The AI identifies voice frequencies and actively cancels non-voice frequencies in real-time — remote participants hear you clearly even in noisy environments. Voyager Surround 80 features Microsoft Teams Open Office certification — the first boomless headset to achieve this demanding specification using 10-mic arrays (6 voice + 4 adaptive ANC). This certification means the headset passes Microsoft's stringent testing for open-plan office noise suppression where multiple people talk simultaneously nearby.
Poly Lens Cloud Management
Single platform manages all Poly devices across your organization. Poly Lens Desktop, Mobile, and Room apps (rebranded HP Poly Studio apps January 2026) provide remote firmware updates, device monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration sync, and analytics. IT admins manage 1 device or 1,000 from one dashboard. End users control personal device settings and software updates on their own devices.
Long-Term Support Commitment
Current Poly systems (X32/X52/X72/G62) run VideoOS 5.0 on Android 13 with committed roadmap to Android 17 and support through 2032. This means 6+ years of firmware updates, security patches, and platform re-certifications ahead. The roadmap is transparent: VideoOS 5.0 (Android 13, released February 2026) → VideoOS 5.1 (adds advanced DirectorAI multi-camera switching, planned) → Android 17 migration (2028) → end of support 2032. Regular feature updates keep systems current as collaboration platforms evolve. Older X30/X50 systems (Android 10) have Teams certification expiring September 2026 and won't receive VideoOS 5.0 — buyers should choose X32/X52 for future-proof investment.
HP Poly is the professional choice for hybrid work environments across UAE and the Middle East. Authorised distributor since 2009. Genuine stock, full warranty, installation included.

V-SERIES · CAPABILITIES YOUR SPECIFIER SHOULD KNOW
DIRECTORAI PERIMETER · V52 / V72 ONLY
Glass-wall and open-plan rooms need Perimeter mode
V52 and V72 include DirectorAI Perimeter — you define the exact room boundary, and the camera only frames people within it. Anyone walking past outside a glass wall or open partition is automatically excluded. The V12 does not have Perimeter mode. For rooms with full or partial glass walls — common across Business Bay, DIFC and JLT — specify V52 or V72, not V12.
PEOPLE FRAMING · V12 / V52 / V72
Three people in a 12-person boardroom — the camera shows three faces, not an empty room
People Framing creates a close-up gallery tile per participant. When three people use a room built for twelve, remote participants see three faces clearly framed — not three people at the far end of a half-empty table. The camera detects people automatically and fills the frame with them. No manual adjustment. This is meeting equity built into the hardware: every call looks like it was set up for the number of people actually present.
20MP SENSOR + 5X DIGITAL ZOOM · V12 / V52 / V72
Why 5x digital zoom is actually usable on a 20MP camera
Most digital zoom degrades image quality because you are magnifying a low-resolution source. The V-series uses a 20MP sensor — roughly four times the resolution of a standard 4K camera. When DirectorAI zooms to frame a speaker, it is cropping a very high-resolution image, so the resulting framed shot remains sharp at 4K output. The 20MP sensor is what makes the 5x zoom clean rather than pixelated.
A2 TABLE MIC EXPANSION · V12 SUPPORTS 1 UNIT
Add one A2 Table Microphone and NoiseBlockAI doubles the audio pickup range
The Poly Studio A2 Table Microphone connects directly to the V12 — no Audio Bridge device required. With NoiseBlockAI off, the A2 picks up 6ft (1.8m). With NoiseBlockAI on, pickup extends to 14ft (4.3m). For a narrow meeting table where participants sit beyond the V12's built-in mic range, one A2 placed at the far end gives everyone equal audio quality. V12 supports one A2 unit; V52/X52 and V72/X72 support up to four.
X-SERIES · CAPABILITIES YOUR SPECIFIER SHOULD KNOW
DEVICE MODE · BYOD · X32 / X52 / X72 / G62
The room is empty. The VC bar doesn't have to be.
When the room is unbooked, any employee can walk in, connect their laptop via USB-C, and the X-series bar instantly becomes their camera, microphone and speaker — for any platform, any call. Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, anything running on the laptop. No booking, no codec, no setup. BYOD mode is built into the firmware. The same system that runs a full Teams Rooms meeting in the morning handles a personal Zoom call from a visiting sales rep in the afternoon. A room system that sits idle when unbooked is an asset that stops earning. Device Mode is what keeps it earning.
SIP / H.323 · LEGACY INTEROP · ALL X-SERIES
Your Riyadh office has a legacy Polycom. Your Dubai boardroom has an X52. They can call each other directly.
Every X-series system has SIP and H.323 built in alongside Teams and Zoom. Dial any standards-based video endpoint — a Polycom Group Series, a Cisco, a Huawei — directly. No SIP gateway. No bridge. No monthly subscription to a third-party interop service. For UAE organisations whose partners or group companies run older room systems, this eliminates what is usually assumed to be an expensive interoperability problem. It is already in the firmware. It needs network access and dial credentials. Nothing else.
DUAL-CAMERA AI SWITCHING · X72 ONLY
"We can't see who's talking." — The X72 fixes this without anyone touching a controller.
The X72 has two cameras: 120° wide-angle for full-room coverage and 70° telephoto for speaker close-ups. DirectorAI runs them like a TV director — wide shot of the room, then a tight cut to whoever is speaking, then back as others join. The 70° telephoto is what makes this work: zooming a narrow lens gives a sharper face shot than cropping a wide-angle source. A speaker stands at the far end of a 25-person boardroom and the remote participants see a clear close-up — not a small figure at the edge of a wide frame. No operator. No remote control. The system makes the call.
THREE DISPLAYS · X52 / X72 IN ZOOM WITH ADAPTER
That third screen on the side wall doesn't need a separate display controller.
X52 and X72 support three displays in Zoom Rooms mode with a supported adapter. Screen one shows participants. Screen two shows content. Screen three can carry a participant roster, a scheduling panel, or a second content stream. For a UAE boardroom that already has a third screen — common in renovated office spaces — this removes the need for a separate display controller. One video bar, one adapter, three screens. This is in HP's own specification table; it is not on any product page.
PLATFORM SWITCHING · ALL X-SERIES
"What if we switch from Teams to Zoom next year?" — You won't be buying new hardware.
X-series systems run Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms on the same hardware. If the platform decision changes, you reconfigure — not replace. One honest point: this is not a between-meetings toggle. Switching platforms requires a device reconfiguration and reboot. Plan a maintenance window, not a five-minute change. For organisations uncertain which platform they will standardise on long-term, or those managing departments running different platforms, the hardware investment is protected regardless of the software decision. The room system is not locked to today's platform choice.
Room size guide: X32/X52 for 6-12 people · X72 for 15-25 people · G62 for any size · USB bars (V12/R30) for BYOD rooms.

| G7500 | Native + modular | Add E70 (dual sensor) | Per camera | Per camera | Expandable | IP expansion mic — NOT A2 | Multiple (IP) | N/A (IP mics) | v1 | External | Up to dual |
The expansion-mic trap nobody documents correctly: The new Studio A2 Table Microphone works with the current generation — G62, X72, V72, X52, V52, X32 and V12 — but it is not backward-compatible. The G7500, and the previous-generation Studio X30, X50 and X70, continue to use the older IP and analogue expansion microphones. This is the mistake even suppliers make: the G62 uses the new A2 mic, but the G7500 uses the old IP mic — one digit changes the entire accessory. If you are adding mics to an existing system, confirm the generation before ordering.
The platforms that still work natively — and the two that don't: Current systems run Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms and Google Meet natively, plus any platform through Poly Video App or USB Device Mode. GoToMeeting and DialPad native modes were removed from firmware 4.6.2 onwards (June 2026) — use those platforms via a connected laptop in Device Mode instead. Many published specifications still list them as supported; on current firmware they are not.
Firmware roadmap — affects which system to buy: Current-generation X32, X52, X72 and G62 move to VideoOS 5.0 (Android 13, support through 2032). The previous-generation X30, X50, X70 and G7500 receive VideoOS 4.7 and do not move to 5.0. For a long-term investment, specify a current-generation system.

What Our Clients Say
"We replaced a 6-year-old Polycom system in our main boardroom with the X72. The DirectorAI framing works exactly as described — the camera follows the speaker without anyone touching a controller. Our London office said the picture quality was noticeably better on their end. Installation was done in one day, Poly Lens setup included, no disruption to the working week."
"We deployed G62 systems across four meeting rooms with E70 cameras and ceiling mic arrays. Vector Digital did the full installation — rack mounting, camera alignment, ceiling drilling, network config, and Poly Lens enrollment. Each room was fully commissioned and tested before handover. The pricing was transparent; what was quoted is what we paid. Strongly recommend for any serious enterprise deployment."
"Bought two X52 systems for our conference rooms and Voyager Focus 2 headsets for the team. Good pricing, everything in stock, delivered next day. The engineer came on Saturday which worked for us. He set up both rooms and walked our IT person through the Poly Lens dashboard. We have had zero issues in three months. Will come back for the Abu Dhabi office setup."

What HP Poly products does Vector Digital Systems supply in Dubai?
We supply the complete HP Poly product range including video conferencing systems (X32, X52, X72, G62, G7500, V-series USB bars), cameras (E70, E60, E360), touch controllers (TC10, TC8), headsets (Voyager Focus 2, Voyager Surround 80/85, Voyager 4300 series, Voyager Free earbuds, Blackwire corded), speakerphones (Sync 10/20/40/60), and accessories. As an authorized Poly dealer in Dubai, we maintain stock of current products and provide installation, configuration, and ongoing support.
Does Vector Digital Systems install Poly video conferencing systems?
Yes, installation is included with every video conferencing system we supply. Our certified installers handle camera placement, audio calibration, network configuration, Poly Lens Cloud setup, and user training. We offer same-day site surveys in Dubai and Sharjah subject to availability, with installation typically completed within 1-3 days depending on system complexity.
Which room sizes do Poly video conferencing systems support?
Poly systems cover all room sizes. Small rooms (2-6 people) use X32, V12, or V52. Medium rooms (6-12 people) use X52, R30, or V72. Large rooms (12-25 people) use X72 or G62. Boardrooms and auditoriums (25-50 people) use G7500 with E70 cameras and expanded audio. Our site survey determines the right system for your specific room layout, acoustics, and use case.
Are Poly systems certified for Microsoft Teams and Zoom?
Yes, all Poly X-series video bars (X32, X52, X72) and modular systems (G62, G7500) run native Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms modes. The TC10 and TC8 controllers are certified for both platforms. USB video bars (V-series, R30) work as BYOD devices with Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and any other platform. You can switch between Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms modes via software configuration.
What is Poly DirectorAI and how does it work?
DirectorAI is Poly's AI-powered smart framing technology. It automatically detects people in the room, tracks speakers, and adjusts camera framing in real-time. DirectorAI offers group framing (everyone in frame), speaker framing (focus on active speaker), and people framing (remove empty space). Advanced DirectorAI in X72 and E70 cameras can switch between dual cameras for optimal coverage. It eliminates manual camera adjustments during meetings.
What is the difference between Poly X-series and G-series systems?
X-series (X32, X52, X72) are all-in-one video bars with integrated camera, microphones, speakers, and codec in a single unit. Mount above or below display, plug in power and network, and you're running. G-series (G62, G7500) are modular systems where codec, cameras, microphones, and speakers are separate components you connect together. G-series offers more flexibility for custom room layouts, while X-series offers simpler installation. Both run VideoOS 5.0 and support Teams/Zoom natively.
Do we have to pay a monthly licence for a Poly Teams Rooms system?
Two costs are separate: Poly supplies the hardware, and Microsoft licenses the software the room runs. On the Microsoft side, Teams Rooms Basic is free for up to 25 rooms per organisation and covers the essentials — one-touch join from the room calendar, content sharing, and wireless presentation. A native Poly system (X32, X52, X72, G62) paired with a free Basic licence means no monthly software cost for the room. You move up to the paid Teams Rooms Pro licence either when you pass 25 rooms, or when you want the AI features — Copilot meeting recap, IntelliFrame individual video tiles, intelligent speaker recognition, and Front Row layout. Zoom Rooms and Google Meet license differently and are paid per room. Will a Poly system block the background noise in our office?
Poly uses two different technologies for two different problems, and current Poly video bars include both. NoiseBlockAI handles non-verbal noise inside the room — keyboard typing, paper rustling, HVAC hum, fan and air-conditioning noise — by recognising sound that is not speech and suppressing it. Acoustic Fence handles human voices from outside your meeting area — hallway chatter, the next desk, an open-plan floor — by creating a virtual pickup zone, so voices beyond that boundary are gated out of the call. In short: if your problem is typing and air-conditioning, that is NoiseBlockAI; if your problem is people talking nearby, that is Acoustic Fence. Because the current X-series, V-series, and G62 carry both, you do not have to choose. NoiseBlockAI v2, the sharper version, runs on the X52, X72, and G62 from firmware 4.6.0 onwards.
Which Poly headsets work best for open office environments?
For open offices, Voyager Surround 80 UC is certified for Microsoft Teams Open Office specification — the first boomless headset to achieve this. It uses 10 microphones (6 for voice, 4 for adaptive ANC) to suppress background noise. Voyager Focus 2 is also excellent with active ANC and boom mic design. Voyager 4320 offers Acoustic Fence technology creating a virtual barrier around your mouth to block surrounding noise. All three are certified for Teams and Zoom.
Can I manage Poly devices remotely?
Yes, through Poly Lens Cloud platform. All Poly video systems, headsets (select models), and speakerphones connect to Poly Lens for remote management. IT admins can monitor device status, push firmware updates, configure settings, troubleshoot issues, and view analytics from a single dashboard. End users get Poly Lens Desktop and Mobile apps (rebranded HP Poly Studio apps January 2026) to manage their own devices. Vector Digital Systems includes Poly Lens setup with all installations.

Small room systems (X32, V12) range AED 8,000-15,000. Medium room systems (X52, V52) range AED 15,000-25,000. Large room systems (X72, G62) range AED 25,000-45,000. How long are Poly video conferencing systems supported?
Current Poly systems (X32, X52, X72, G62) run VideoOS 5.0 on Android 13 with a roadmap to Android 17 and committed support through 2032. This means 6+ years of firmware updates, security patches, and platform re-certifications ahead. Poly systems also receive regular feature updates — VideoOS 5.1 will add advanced DirectorAI multi-camera switching. Older systems like X30 and X50 (Android 10) have Teams certification expiring September 2026 and won't receive VideoOS 5.0.
Is HP Poly the same as Polycom? Is Polycom discontinued?
HP Poly is the current brand for what was previously Polycom's video conferencing business. Plantronics acquired Polycom in 2018, rebranded as Poly, then HP acquired Poly in 2022 — creating HP Poly. The engineering team, product architecture, and platform certifications are the same. If you have been using Polycom systems — Group Series, HDX, Trio, RealPresence — HP Poly is your direct upgrade path. The legacy Polycom product names are discontinued but the technology continues under the HP Poly brand. Vector Digital Systems has supplied Polycom and HP Poly systems in Dubai since 2009.
We have existing Polycom Group Series or HDX systems — what are our upgrade options?
Legacy Polycom Group Series (310, 500, 700) and HDX systems are now end-of-life with no further firmware updates or platform certifications. The direct replacement path is: Group Series → Poly Studio G62 or G7500 (same modular codec architecture, Teams/Zoom native, 2032 support). HDX systems → Poly Studio X52 or X72 depending on room size. We provide migration assessments, trade-in evaluations, and migration discounts for existing Polycom customers upgrading to current HP Poly systems. WhatsApp us with your existing system model for a specific recommendation.
USB video bars vs Android systems — which is better for our meeting rooms?
USB video bars (V12, V52, V72, R30) connect to a laptop via USB-C — the laptop runs Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet, and the bar provides camera, microphone, and speaker. No codec needed, works with any platform, simple to use, lower cost. Best for: BYOD rooms, home offices, small rooms, organizations running mixed platforms. Android systems (X32, X52, X72, G62) are standalone — they run Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms natively without a laptop. Better meeting experience, DirectorAI camera tracking, centrally managed via Poly Lens, consistent room experience. Best for: dedicated meeting rooms, boardrooms, organizations standardising on one platform. Most organizations use both — Android systems for permanent meeting rooms, USB bars for flexible BYOD spaces.
We run our meetings on GoToMeeting — will our Poly system stop working?
Your meetings will keep working — but the way you launch them changes. HP Poly removed native GoToMeeting and DialPad modes from firmware VideoOS 4.6.2 onwards, with support ending June 1, 2026, on Poly Studio X series, G7500, and G62 devices. Tencent native mode is also being deprecated. Many product listings still show these as supported because the spec pages have not been updated — but on current firmware they are gone. You can still use GoToMeeting, DialPad, or any platform by running the app on a connected laptop in USB Device Mode. Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet remain fully supported as native modes.
Our boardroom is large — how many cameras and microphones can one Poly system handle?
A single system covers more than most people expect. From firmware VideoOS 4.5.0 onwards in Microsoft Teams mode, a Poly Studio G62 can IP-connect up to three Poly Studio E60 or E70 cameras plus three Poly IP microphones. A Poly Studio X72 video bar can IP-connect up to two E60 or E70 cameras plus three IP microphones. For expansion table microphones, the current A2 Table Microphone supports up to 8 units on G62, up to 4 on X72/V72 and X52/V52, up to 2 on X32, and 1 on V12. Note the generation split: G62 uses the new A2 mic, but G7500 uses the older IP expansion microphone and is not A2-compatible — confirm the model before ordering accessories.
We need to add microphones to our existing Poly system — will the new ones fit?
Check the exact model before you order — this is where money gets wasted. The Poly Studio A2 Table Microphone and A2 Audio Bridge are not backward-compatible. They work only with the current generation: G62, X72, V72, X52, V52, X32, and the V12 (Table Microphone only). The Poly G7500 continues to use IP expansion microphones, and the older Studio X30, X50, and X70 use the previous analogue and USB expansion microphones. This is a common ordering mistake — the G62 uses the new A2 mic, but the one-digit-different G7500 uses the old IP mic. There is one useful exception worth knowing: the current Studio X52, X72, V52, and V72 also accept the older Poly Studio Table Microphone (part 875M6AA, the RJ11 360-degree expansion mic), so if you already own that legacy microphone you can keep using it on a current-generation bar rather than buying new. The X32 and V12 take the A2 mic only. Always confirm the exact model before ordering expansion microphones.
We are buying now — which Poly systems will still be supported in five years?
Buy from the current generation and you are covered to 2032. VideoOS 5.0 (released February 2026, Android 13) is for the current generation: Poly Studio X32, X52, X72, and G62. These move forward to Android 17 in 2028 with committed support through 2032, and gain DirectorAI multi-camera automatic switching with the planned VideoOS 5.1. The previous-generation Studio X30, X50, X70, and the G7500 receive VideoOS 4.7 and do not move to VideoOS 5.0. The VideoOS 5.0 upgrade is one-way and cannot be rolled back, and devices must be on firmware 4.6.0 or later to upgrade. For a long-term investment, specify a current-generation X32, X52, X72, or G62 system.

HP Poly Firmware and Capability Reference (VideoOS, current 2026)
This reference reflects current Poly VideoOS firmware as of June 2026 and corrects information that older published spec sheets still show incorrectly. Current firmware is VideoOS 4.6.2, with VideoOS 5.0 (Android 13) released February 2026 for Poly Studio X32, X52, X72, and G62. Native GoToMeeting and DialPad modes were removed from firmware VideoOS 4.6.2 onwards, with support ending June 1, 2026 — these platforms now require a connected laptop in USB Device Mode. Native support continues for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, and Google Meet. Simultaneous multi-microphone mixing (up to four Poly Studio A2 Table Microphones at once) is available on X72, X52, X32, and G62 from firmware VideoOS 4.6.1 onwards. Poly NoiseBlockAI version 2 is available on X52, X72, and G62 from firmware VideoOS 4.6.0 onwards. The Poly Studio A2 Table Microphone and A2 Audio Bridge are not backward-compatible: they work with G62, X72, V72, X52, V52, X32, and V12 (Table Microphone only), while the G7500 uses IP expansion microphones and the older X30, X50, and X70 use analogue and USB expansion microphones. The current generation (X32, X52, X72, G62) is on the path to Android 17 in 2028 with support committed through 2032; the previous generation (X30, X50, X70, G7500) receives VideoOS 4.7 and does not move to VideoOS 5.0. The VideoOS 5.0 upgrade is one-way and cannot be rolled back. From firmware VideoOS 4.5.0 onwards, a Poly Studio G62 supports up to three IP-connected E60 or E70 cameras plus three IP microphones, and an X72 supports up to two IP cameras plus three IP microphones. Poly recommends scheduled automatic weekly or daily restart to maintain system stability, configurable in the system web interface.
